Hikari Izumi is one of the most prominent female Asian traceurs in the world. Making her mark at the top international competitions, she has appeared in high-profile corporate commercials, television shows and music videos. In 2016, she earned her Associate Degree in Media Arts while training in Los Angeles with world-class athletes. Upon finishing her studies in 2018, she is now working as a professional parkour athlete both internationally and nationally in Japan.

Her major accomplishments include winning the FIG PARKOUR WORLD CUP in the speed challenge, second place in freestyle and being the two-time Last Woman Standing in the female Ninja Warrior obstacle show, “KUNOICHI.” 

Hikari is especially committed to spreading parkour’s beauty of movement with her energetic style and bright personality – in Japan, Asia and with women all over the world. She has held workshops in a variety of places including Australia, Singapore and Japan as one way to do so.

 In 2019, she appeared in an Asian regional commercial for Vaseline with Silke Sollfrank called “Parkour Challenge.” Hikari hopes to appear more in internationally media campaigns and events -- in Asia and all over the world.
